Still having trouble getting the fly swatter achievement

like the title said, I managed to shot Margarete several time in midair with a shot gun. Only one of them caused a instant animation change where she just stood up on the ground like she was staggered. none of my other shots even caused a trajectory change. Help? do I need to prime a situation where a shot will cause her fly backwards?

It has to be a leaping animation. It is easy to tell since she usually initiates it from the ceiling. She twists her entire body around during the leap.
The easy way of getting the achievement is shooting fast. Once she starts the leap, the achievement is legal. She does not actually have to leave the ceiling fully, she only needs to be in the leap animation.

Thank you for your insight, I'll try it next time I play. Seriously hoping it's not just because the achievement is bugged (pun intended) for me
