PS: Do not play Zero before 1. You'll spoil yourself regardless of the chronological order.
0 spoil somehow, but it's cronologically correct, even if game wise it's better play it after the first.
Resident Evil 5 - Initial Release date: 2009.
Resident Evil Revelations - Initial Release date: 2012.

Nope. We are talking about Resident Evil games avaiable on Steam (re-read original post)
The later timeline (there are two) of RERev2 takes place around a month or less before the start of RE6. It does not really matter when you play it, but if you want to play its side game mode, Raid, then you really should play RE6 beforehand. (Also, its controls are somewhat refined from the RE6 controls, so it is easier to get used to them this way.)
Zero spoils RE1's twist big time not just "somehow". Like 25 minutes into the game. I definitely do not recommend playing Zero before RE1 (original or remake) unless you're already familiar with the series.
