Review my last paragraph. I'm looking for feedback on ps4 pro vr Re7 versions and any relevant improvement over the original ps4 vr. Also sharing feedback for folks who, like me, were contemplating purchasing a ps4 vr version of Re7.
I'm assuming you don't like cookies. How about some no F*cks given?
Hey bud. Wow, I'm blown away that this could be a bragging thread. Having a 1080ti? Thats pretty commonplace in the PC gaming market. I'm married w kids in my 30s and most of my friends from college still game. We are all at an age where purchasing computers and graphics cards is pretty easy for most mid age gamers like us. Any sensitive peeps who can't handle something so trivial should have some thicker skin.
The point of the thread is that, like many of you, I'm a HUGE fan of RE7 and love it on PC. I'm sure a 980 GTX would look beautiful as well. It is just so well detailed and a phenomenal experience. I love the hidden treasures, collectibles etc. Point iis - I'm surprised that the ps4 version is SO grainy. The only thing that's kinda cool is it looks like an old VHS horror movie and gives it a creepy vibe.
I'm curious if anyone here has it on ps4 PRO and if they love it. Please share! Also, many many many people in this forum have oculus like I do and are hoping it arrives. I'm sharing my experience for those that may want a ps vr version.
Cheers
I guess I just come across too many dumb bait threads lol. But I still do think a significant drop in quality should have been expected from the outset. A PS4 is nowhere near the level of a 1080 Ti and the game's quality has to be reduced even further for the PS4 to handle it in VR. PS4 Pro will be a little better of course, but probably not worth buying the console for.
So yes, casually dropping that you own a 1080 Ti and two VR sets is a thinly-veiled bragging, even if you did not mean as such.
Nothing is veiled. A $700 graphics card is hardly 3 homes, a jet, or lambo. These kids these days. So overly sensitive.
Please direct those of us Re7 owners that also have a 1080 to our appropriate forum to discuss? Better yet - where is the appropriate cut off in your eyes that warrants a video cards acceptability to be discussed? Is it the 980? The 1060?
Please enlighten all Of us?
Or, you could just take a chill pill, toughen up that thin skin, stop hijacking a thread over a harmless 1080 reference, and allow folks that have the exact game tied to this forum to discuss the different options of running said game without offending your overt sensitivities.
Thank you my man. I get it. Seems there must be some prior history in this forum or something.
Anywho - as you recommend I probably don't need a ps4 pro for only a slight I crease in clarity to o e of my favorite games. Any ps4 pro users here that love their version of re7 vr?
As a nonbiased observer, there is no prior history going on in this forum. I too have a 1080 and would never get on and brag about it like you just did. You were bragging. You were busted. No amount of blab sh** is going to get you out of it. You should know better as a 30 year old man. Or you are just plain dumb? I dont know. Go brag about it on the PS network, not here on Steam. Good riddance.
Hey man, respectfully, I think you have way too much anger here. Calling people dumb is excessive. There was nobody going on and on. I politely am sharing a thread in a Resident Evil forum about Resident Evil's applications and different experiences. Let's take a look at what you call going "on and on" about a 1080ti -
Here it is. "I've already ran through it many times on my PC with a 1080 TI and thoroughly enjoy the beautiful Graphics but I've always liked many of you wanted it to come out for Oculus or Vive."
In my original post above I mentioned one point about a 1080. ONE. Then it was mentioned afterward as a reference when discussing forum browser's sensitivities. Which obviously you have.
Sorry bud. I know you are obviously miserable and looking for someone/something to yell at. Somewhere to let out some of your life's frustrations. I think the only thing "revealed" or "busted" here is your need to reprimand to overcompensate for something. All you are bringing is valueless vile. Cussing, calling people dumb, and making "good riddance" comments where you are trying to discard discourse that is ON TOPIC isn't your job bud. Go smoke a joint or make some more money if you are so miserable.
This is a RE7 Forum. People on steam use pc's. PC's have graphics cards, some of which are 1080's. PC forum users will discuss in PC forums graphics cards, their uses, and subsequently share what we learn from each experience to help others learn that share the same hobby.
If a pc owner mentioning a 1080 ti, oculus, or any other PC GAMING material item offends your sensitivities - find something in life that makes you happy. Oh and....Brace yourself - below I'm asking if a PS4 PRO is that much better of an experience than a PS4 standard. Hope the PRO aspect doesn't fall into your easily categorized bucket of high end disallowed for discussion material items. Offer feedback on topic please.
Still curious about anyone's PS4 PRO RE& VR experience. Thanks
