One of the Directors of RE7, already said in December 2017 that they got no plans atm to bring VR to other Platforms

I don't recall anyone at Capcom ever stating that they will bring VR support on any platform. They made PSVR because Sony paid them to do so.

There are theories, the biggest being money. They won't sell enough new copies of RE7 on PC to cover the cost of porting it to VR.

Sony had a 1 year exclusive with PSVR. Capcom is not known for honouring the exclusives past the expiry date if they think there's money in it (see; any Capcom game ever.)
