Resident Evil 7 Gold Survival Pack

I am thinking of buying RE7 Gold, but I am wondering on how to receive the Survival Pack DLC items. Will they already be in the game, or will I receive a email to redeem it. I also play on PS4 so I want to know if the Survival Pack items come on the disc version. Thanks.

They should already be in the game. I bought the gold edition and never had to redeem anything and I have the stuff.

I bought a Gold Edition Steam key and did not receive the survival packs. I guess these only for buyers directly over Steam. If you are going to buy a retail edition, I wouldn't expect the survival packs to be a part of it, unless they are mentioned on the case.

What is a survival pack? I am about to buy Gold Edition on another site and I see the survivor pack for 99 cents next to Gold edition.

It was a set of pre-order bonuses for US customers for retail stores. All of them give you a special box in your item box that give you a set of items (first aid med, herbs, pistol/shotgun ammo, chem fluids, burner ammo) once you open them. However, these special boxes can be used only ONCE. Not per playthrough, once in total. One code will give you a set of items you can never use again, this is why nobody ever buys them. (Plus because these codes ran out over three years ago and most of them sold on the grey market are scam.)
