Anyone think the game is 'too' easy on normal or easy difficulties?
Title.

My first playthrough I died a few times sure, but the game puts you right back before where you died.

And on my second playthrough (right now) I rushed through the baker house because of the fact the item spawn is so close togehter.

The run it under 4 hours achievement just sounds like a walk in the park after realizing how quickly you can speed through the game.

I was going for the two marguette achievements, when I noticed I got them so quickly close to eachother, and I was like

"Wait this feels way too short, I beat her up in the water house and already got her boss fight?"

Anyone else feel likg they should add a difficulty after normal or beef up normal itself?

Yeah but thats it, thats the only part of the game.

At least games like RE6 had 5 with 2 difficult ones

I must be really bad at this game, because I'm struggling pretty hard on Normal.

It felt hard to me at first, but once you realize you respawn right before every death scene, it becomes easy, its what made me learn how to kill the bosses so quickly

Resident Evil 7 doesn't have a hard difficulty this time. It has easy, normal, and bend you over and insert directly into your ass difficulty. Madhouse is really rough. So the game is missing a difficulty between madhouse and normal to be honest.

Yeah, first run-through took 6 hours, 2nd one I am already fighting margrette at barley an hour and a half, once you learn where jacks weakpoint is and how to juke the molds it becomes too easy to rush through the game, hence forth there being an achivement for under 4 hours and using less than 3 healing items as well as only opening the box 3 times, because the game REALLY is that short lol

A difficulty after normal would be nice, madhouse is a giant skip from normal lmao

I confirm, Madhouse is really hard... :steamhappy:

I died so many times already, and only had my first boss fight yet!
I blame the controls (gamepad+shooting sucks, but it's comfortable).

Well, the experience is different for everyone, of course. Kinda weird the game has only "easy" and "normal" setting.

It has the same problem every RE has in that you're completely running through everything in the late game because you've saved up so much ammo. I hope madhouse fixes that

What the difference betwen the higher difficulties? Does it have more enemies or you just take more damage? Which difficuclty would you recoemnd to play? Does it have less ammo on higher diffficulty? Is enough ammo to kill all the enemies or we must avoid most of them?

Its like rearrange mode but with better AI, less ammo, more coins and upgrades, and obviously lower damage resistance for you and higher for enemies.

Easy = super easy
Normal = normal
Madhouse = Kick you in the ass.

The differnse between easy and normal is enemies take more dmg to kill, you take less dmg to kill.

Madhouse however changes item and enemy placement. Enemies are tanky beasts of death and destruction.

And on normal can you kill all the enemies like in a FPS game or there is not enough ammo for that and you have to avoid most of them like in alien isolation?

i only bothered killing enemies I couldnt avoid. Not sure how much ammo you'd have left if you killed everything, cant imagine it'd be alot.
