Steam or Windows 10/Xbox One

What you guys think whould you get it on steam or windows 10 and get a free copy for xbox one.? Im not sure what to get it for. The windows 10 deal is pretty nice to have it for xbox one and pc. Then you just have the steam version.... Hmmm undecided.. What you guys recomend?

Windows store is known for it's clunkyness and ♥♥♥♥♥♥ downloads. I have games usually downloaded in matter of minutes, took me a full day until it worked properly for me to download Gears of War 4 from Windows store.

If I had both, pc and xbox, I would opt. for steam, and if I ever wanted to play it on xbox, which I wouldn't, I'd just rent it or whatever.

Yeah, I also see you have like 7 RE games on steam, it's always nicer to have the collection on one platform, not having it separately.

And as Cap mentioned, there is really nothing you'd gain from that. Steam master race ftw.

You will only get Xbox one copy if you buy the digital copy ....but only if its a Play Anywhere game

But its not on the Windows 10 store so i dont think so.

rather Play on Steam and use the Xbox one controoler if you must

Pros:
-You buy it on Win10 you get it on Xbox One too for FREE!
-Xbox Community
-Windows 10 in the upcoming updates will get a game mode similar to the one in Xbox One S which will boost up your game (only Win10 store confirmed) and turn down anything else to ensure your game is the main focus and prioritize your game and the performance fully for it.
-Xbox Achievments

Cons:
-No mods
-Not real fullscreen?
-Works just like any other app I guess

Steam ver

Pros:
-Sales
-Steam community
-Most gamers have their PC games on steam
-It's not the only RE Game on Steam
-Mods

Cons:
-No play anywhere, cause duh, steam...
-No game mode cause duh... steam, unless MS decides to make Game Mode work for all or any game added or launched via the xbox app or something else special.

Game mode, at best, just removes the performance hit when using the xbox DVR on Windows 10. It's not going to improve any in-game performance outside of that small group of people who haven't already disabled their Xbox app in Windows 10, from what I've read in more up-to-date articles regarding 'Game mode'.

Not trying to defend Xbox here, not a fan but have you ever used the Xbox app? it's basically trying to be even better than steam. But I won't move their or buy anymore game anytime soon, mainly because all of my games and friends are here, and I don't support locked down games either. I only play Minecraft there.
