I don't know about you but when I'm actually pushing any button, I don't even hear her at all, it just skips to the main menu with the recorder.
I don't think you can skip it automatically, i'm prety sure the video file is in of those huge files.
You could try -novid in your launch settings on steam, but I don't think it will work.
I don't mind the song actually, I find it to be pretty cool and catchy.
You just need to be quicker, and stop crying over something so small. And here's another thought, mute your sound before you launch the game. Then unmute it once you're in the menu, problem solved. I know that thinking is hard for you, but you're welcome.

Where the hell is that from? lol its not the original silent hill ive still got the ps1 disc and it doesnt have any lyrics at all.
