1) I think Mia got on the ship because she was not given the antidote and was under Eves control so she just mutated her onto the ship which would make sense since you fight her and kill her on the ship when she completely takes over.
2) Chris Redfield has been the main protagonist in almost every Resident Evil.
3) "Umbrella" has been the antagonist group in most of the REs.
4) RE7 events supposedly happen after 6 so it would be after or still during just some place else.
5) Good Q no clue.
3)Probably we get answers in free DLC "Not a Hero".
2) Chris Redfield is a main character in RE1, RE Code Veronica, RE5, RE6, and he also appeared in RE Revelations, RE Umbrella Chronicles and two official Manga.
3) Umbrella "Corps" doesn't exist. Umbrella was a pharmaceutical company brought down in 2003 after decades of illegal viral research and BOW production. The title of the game Umbrella Corps is just a wordplay, the company doesn't even appear in that game either.
4) RE7 is chronologically the last incident so far. All previously released RE games came before timeline-wise. Not every game took place in a zombie apocalypse, some RE games doesn't even have zombies.
5) It's an hallucination. Eveline stopped receiving her doses after the incident in the ship in 2014, so without that she started to grow old pretty quick. The game takes place in 2017, where Eveline already looks like an old woman, so whenever you see her as a girl, it's just an hallucination.
Well, you are, :) if you consider that the stranger:
+ Was the only person who helped you at all.
+ You wouldn't even know about the serum if it wasn't from her.
+ She behaves like a reasonable human being for the whole game.
Meanwhile your wife:
- Lured you into a death trap
- Tries to kill you everytime she loses control of herself
- Doesn't even look like she can be normal anymore
- You also learn that she lied to you when she was still human
What I'm trying to say is that it's pretty stupid plot design that the game lets you decide between A and B, but at the end it turns out that you're forced to choose A, because literally nothing good will come from B. -Want to save Mia, or Zoe? You decide. -Zoe? -Nope, try again. LMAO
So, assuming Capcom makes ending A canon, then that means: Zoe saved Ethan's life and helped him out, and she was just a victim. But in return, Ethan behaved like a ♥♥♥♥ abandoning her to her fate, while saving the woman who lied and almost killed him only because he loves her, despite she did many things wrong and was in part guilty for all that happened. Because nobody forced Mia to work for some shady organization and deal with BOWs, that was her choice. Even if Mia is alive and free from Eveline, she's not clean, she has still some crimes to answer for.
"Love" is the sole reason why he would save Mia, and the game rewards the player for choosing that. I think that's a fail, and the game should have had pros and cons for each path instead, whether Ethan chose with his hearth or with his brain.
1. Mia was brought to the ship via Eveline on purpose.
2. Chris is one of the lead protagonists in the RE series as a whole. Along with Jill Valentine they were the orignal two main characters of the series.
3. Umbrella Corporation were bad guys, the reason why they are good guys is still up to debate. However recent information shows that after Umbrella filed for bankruptsy, and the old ceo's and cfo's killed off (because they were the ones behind all of the crazy ♥♥♥♥) the company restructured, got new management and is currently working with the USA and BSO supplying anti bio weapons and anti bio weapon data to both. The old umbrella is represented via a Red Logo, while the new Umbrella (who is working with BSO) is represented by a Blue Logo.
4. None of the games take place during a zombie apocalypse. They all take place in differnt locations around the world that are being affected by a BIO weapon outbreak. So while the events in the games happen the rest of the world is running just fine.
5. Young Eveline is always a hallucination however wether any individual event is the hallucination covering up the real evenline is unkown.
As for the Mia, Zoe thing, you should remember that most of the Zoe content was never finished due to it being cut during development, either do to time or more likely $ constraints.
