Regarding the soundtrack/music
Two suggestions to make in regards to this:

First: I feel like the game could use more of it's iconic music. Sure there's a little snippet of Red Like Roses in one of the battle themes. However at the very least I feel like instrumentals of the following should be added in as possible battle themes for final waves/boss fights:

-Red Like Roses
-Mirror, Mirror
-From Shadows
-I Burn
-This Will Be The Day
-Time To Say Goodbye
-When It Falls
-Die

Second: Jeff is an amazing composer and RWBY does have a great soundtrack. However sometimes game adaptations need to take those familiar themes and remix them to better fit a game. Rooster Teeth does have a history of hiring fans within the community when someone pops up that does something extremely well/amazing (case in point: this very game)

With that said has anyone looked at the work of Jeremiah George? He's done several remixes of various themes in an orchestral style that I could easily see be used as possible battle music in a game:

This Will Be The Day:

Time To Say Goodbye:

Die:

I think you guys should consider talking to him if you decide to give the music in the game it's own unique, yet familiar sound when compared to the show ^_~

Nice. I'd be totally cool with these being in the game. They fit right in with this game style. :)
Can we get some completly origional compostions. So far it's just a mash up of other songs from the show.

Don't forget the remix versions of some of the songs! What we also really need is just an overall addition of music. We get some little soft music (or at times none at all), then suddenly get a battle song that is so sudden and abrupt because it starts mid song, that it feels just really out of place. I eventually just turned the music off and played the first two sound tracks as I went along. So yea, we need a music update for sure.

But whatever the devs do, DON'T UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES take out Action_Intense_04 (I extracted the music files because I love listening to them so much ;)). That one is the BEST.

By chance is that the one that has a tiny part of Red Like Roses in it? All in all from the folks I've spoken with it seems to be just about everyone's favorite.

If you look in the Steam files for the game, you'll see some .assets files, those are where all the assets for the game are stored. You can open them up and extract files using a Unity assets extractor (I used one called Unity Assets Bundle Extractor). The music (and other audio files) is in resources.assets.

I tried that. It keeps giving me a "Unable to open the bundle file" error :(

Sorry, not sure what to say, then! I don't know a ton about Unity and how it works, I just was going off stuff I googled.

It will be really really awesome playing with these musics in background.

But mainly, the battle musics must be looped. One of the last fights before the bomb part have a cool music, but it isn't looped.
