For me it would be
1: Yang-Shotgun applies stun and also nuke move
2 Weiss- My personnel favortie mostly because the ability to freeze any grimm after one attack and her aoe move is pretty nice. Also I think she has the best dodge.
3 Ruby:I like her combo, but her dodge is pretty bad and I don't like her specials as much as the others
4: Blake:: Easily the worst dodge, and her special moves are pretty bad compared to the others, she does have a nice combo though

Weiss is also my favourite, she's a bit of an overpowered medic. You can have the full wave blast with heal, the medic perk, the 2 extra special boost, the 2x special increase, and if you tried really hard, you can get the freeze blast perk.
Did I mention you can also get the pierce branch with distance? If you can't afford to use the wave blast, then you can use the pierce. You can even strike twice if you have two special uses available.

Weiss isn't the top striker (Blake is from my 5 hours of blake), but when you can freeze a boss and freeze everyone to heal your friend; it's a bit overpowered.

Exactly the same, but I find Ruby most fun to play.

It's hard. Yang is a monster who can achieve huge combos, so she takes the top spot easy. The rest are a mixed bag and like things about all of them.

Ruby can unlock armor piercing rounds which make armored enemies a lot easier to deal with and her AOE ability is pretty good. Weiss has two excellent abilities with Pierce and Nova (the only character that has more than one ability worth putting points into) and Blake's little shadow dash thing once upgraded is hilarious because it feels like you're slicing and dicing whole packs of enemies apart by dashing through them over and over, and her melee combo can 100-to-0 a beowolf.

Err, if I had to put them in order... Yang > Weiss > Blake > Ruby, but Ruby, Blake, and Weiss are really rather interchangeable in my opinion. Yang's just stupid broken OP though... and I hope that never changes <3.

1. Weiss
2. Yang
3. Ruby
4. Blake

Weiss's mobility is deceptively good between the rebound on Pierce and her very responsive dodge. The Ice Bolt upgrade on Barrage is incredibly powerful. It outright kills a third of the Grimm types in the game and freezes the rest and also covers more area than any other attack in the game by a sizeable margin. Her Nova gets more attention because it is simply easier to use. Nova's ability to heal is niche, at best, but its ability to freeze is very strong. Attaching a freeze to her combo is also very powerful. Even without taking the effort to position so you hit entire waves with Ice Bolt (it's hilarious and everyone should try it) Weiss puts out just as much damage as anyone else and has the unique utility of freeze enemies who live through her attacks.

Yang is very straight forward and easy to use. Being able to refill Special is very handy as well. She's definitely strong with her AoE attacks and good mobility on her basic combo.

Ruby is in a very similar place to Yang. I ranked her lower because her I've had some hit detection issues with her abilities. Spinning into the air can miss people in front of me or on a slight slope and spinning forward can be awkward if she ends up switching targets.

Blake is just too buggy right now. Her Dust Clone is a cool idea, but the upgrades don't work properly. I like that her combo can boost into the air, but I rarely drag enemies into the air with me so I do absolutely nothing. I will say that her ranged attack is amazing for keeping her combo going and her Blade Beam is pretty good.

T.T No love for Blake. It's alright tho, her blade beam is a damn good point blank kill IF the enemy isnt in some fancy invulnerability state. Havent played much of everyone to have a fav but checking the combos and such I like Blake the mostest.

The ones you can't see? Clearly not the answer then. Most people who haven't seent he show would never know she even has them.

They're quite visible in-game.

That's her bow. And if you look closely at the model, you can see human ears as well.

So all in all, she has 4 ears. But you can't see her cat ears because the bow covers them.

To get a close look at the model, go close to wall and force the camera closer.

Ruby
Weiss
Blake
Yang

Ruby is just ridiculous. Great dodge, great combo, all three skills are excellent and have good hit detection. Level 10 skill is decent, but her ranged attack is garbage. At least there is some trade off I guess.

Weiss is good, I'd say at a level everyone should be balanced at. She's very strong but not a faceroll god like Ruby. Her freezes are nice, it's good to have crowd control. Her level 10 skill is overpowered.

Blake would be a lot better if her skills actually worked. Fortunately her X does and it's by far her best move, as you can just spam it on big enemies and cheese them to death -- up to 300 damage on pretty much everything. Her level 10 skill is great fuel for the strategy. She has extremely high damaging combos that require more skill than just mashing auto attack.

Yang - one trick pony. Literally all you do with this character is take the special replinishment and spam charge ground slam. If you're fighting something big you spam uppercut. Braindead character. Her combo is terrible against anything big, and her ranged attack is pointless to mow down little enemies since that's where her combo shines -- no leap lets her jump from one to the next. She's not bad, but once Blake is fixed she is easily bottom tier.

Ah right, I just looked up the lore and Faunas so happen to have 4 ears. Unfortunately I didn't get the reason why you only choose Blake, but it's probably a game exploit if you haven't gotten annoyed of my guesses yet :P
