Getting to Level 10

So far even with all the Grimm im killing and artifacts i am finding, I am unable to reach level 10 at all before the game ends. Is this just with Ruby or do other people also have this problem.

BTW, I think Grimm stop spamming in the movers once you kill enough. I've had it happen often when the bomb gets to the last door, Grimms no longer spawn

Easiest way would be to get the Ruined City and dont kill the boss, Just kill all the lower grimms that spawn

I managed to get to level 10 with all characters.

You have to kill alot of grimm. Also, when you are protecting the control centre, you get 75XP for each wave completed, 50XP for being the wave MVP and 50XP (I think it is) for flawless wave, which you have to make kills without a single hit from the grimm.

If a huntress falls, and you revive them, you get 50XP. If you break a crate, you are likely gonna get 50XP, but not all boxes have them. Also, there are artifacts, which look like chess pieces. They'll give you 100XP. I think there are around 20 chess pieces to find.

If you are successful with the above, you are going to hit level 10.

One more way towards doing it solo- if you die you respawn at the previous checkpoint and all previous boxes/artifacts come back (and even some enemy spawns!). With some backtracking this lets you double up on some possible exp. Unfortunately this seems to only work once per checkpoint, but it helps if you don't want to farm at boss Ursa.

Ok, i get it, I got level 10 ages ago. Use AOE attacks, play with other people and steal their kills, get Wave MVP every time, and get all the artifacts.

Not when I have 5 to 7 times the amount of kills as the people in 3rd and 4rth place.

my game keeps resetting me to level 1 at random times i cant get past level 6 sadly

Latency and being firsttimer (it's still a new game) explains much ,even the fact that the first placed can have far more than 50% of the total points.

I feel more awkward though when I steal the mobs of the second placed:p

Nah, the 2nd placed person in that game was doing great.

We had Ruby, Yang, Blake, Weiss

#1 Ruby 42%
#2 Weiss 41%
#3 Blake 10%
#4 Yang 7%

No way was I going to let that Weiss beat me!

Positive, Yang was so juicy delicious to steal off of the entire time.

She'd do her ground smash, but obviously didn't upgrade it right or something. So everytime she did an AOE, it leave the mob all weak and easy for me to come up and do a quick AOE steal.

Blake was just being terrible and trying to shoot everything, when she did do her AOE move me and weiss would just steal from her.

Oh yeah, they died a lot too and when they did, we revived them after we cleared the area around us with our double upgraded AOE.

They were obviously new players. The aoe t1 does not much dmg, perhaps Yang
thought it would be useless to upgrade it.
