I wonder when we can officially buy and/or watch RWBY Japanese dub

I have been dying to watch the RWBY Japanese dub for a while now, and I just found out that you can buy the Japanese Blu Ray version of the show, if you live in Japan or close to it. Meanwhile, the version we can buy on the Roosterteeth shop does not have the Japanese dub. Hopefully in the future when Volume 3 is finished, we can buy a RWBY Volume 1-3 blu ray, which contains RWBY Volume 1 Japanese dub.

Yes, and thats the sole reason why I want to watch it. Mainly to know the differences from the English and Japanese dub.

i watched part of an episode and didnt care for it personally. Just didnt feel right to me.

I imagine that the Japanese release will have English subtitles that match up with the original scripts. If you understand Japanese, it might be interesting to see how they've localized it, but for those of us who just read the subs, I doubt you'll see any changes. Although I'm also interested in seeing it, if only so I can annoy gullible people by saying I prefer the "original" Japanese version. I liked what I saw in the trailer, except for Nora's VA, but not gonna cast aspersions on something until I've given it a full chance.

To be fair that's actually the Japanese fandub that was done prior to RT striking up a deal with WB Japan.

A lot of people seems to be confused between the actual dub and the fandub. I do know the fandub exists
