HOW TO ADVANCE IN RANK?
To help with any confusion on Ranking up. Here's a quick guide for your reference.

RANK 0 -> 1
All players begin at level 0. To achieve rank 1, you must meet the “Maxed Out” requirement -
Maxed Out: Reach Max Level (10) with four characters

RANK 1 -> 2
Rank 1 players will be promoted to rank 2 after completing the following challenges:
Leveled Up - Get 1 character to level 10
10x Revives - Revive 10 teammates
50x Ranged Kills - Get 50 kills with ranged attacks
50x Hit Streak - Get a hit streak of 50 or higher
Ursa Slayer - Kill 20 Ursas

RANK 2 -> 3
Leveled Up - Get 1 character to level 10
Creep Killer - Kill 300 Creeps
20x Team Attack Finishers - Perform 20 Team Attacks
50x Counters - Perform 50 Counters
4x Challenge Master - Unlock 4 Mastery Challenges

RANK 3 -> 4
Leveled Up - Get 1 characters to level 10
Beowolf Buster - Kill 300 Beowolves
20x Team Attack Set Ups - Set up 20 Team Attacks
100x Destructibles - Break 100 crates or pots
10x Artifact Collector - Collect 10 artifacts

RANK 4 -> 5
Leveled Up - Get 1 characters to level 10
Alpha Creep Killer - Kill 150 Alpha Creeps
5x Flawless Waves - Get 5 Flawless Waves
20x Revives - Revive 20 teammates
100x Ultimates - Perform 100 Ultimate Attacks

RANK 5 -> 6
2x Leveled Up - Get 2 characters to level 10
Alpha Beowolf Buster - Kill 150 Alpha Beowolves
6x Challenge Master - Unlock 6 Mastery Challenges
10x Wave MVPs - Get 10 Wave MVPs
15x Artifact Collector - Collect 15 artifacts

RANK 6 -> 7
2x Leveled Up - Get 2 characters to level 10
Boarbatusk Butcher - Kill 100 Boarbatusks
100x Stuns - Stun 100 Grimm
100x Team Attack Finishers - Perform 100 Team Attacks
50x Assists - Perform 50 assists

RANK 7-> 8
2x Leveled Up - Get 2 characters to level 10
30x Ursa Slayer - Kill 30 Ursas
Mutant Beowolf Buster - Kill 20 Mutant Beowolves
Android Annihilator - Kill 200 Androids
8x Challenge Master - Unlock 8 Mastery Challenges

RANK 8 -> 9
2x Leveled Up - Get 2 characters to level 10
Mutant Creep Killer - Kill 100 Mutant Creeps
200x Stuns - Stun 200 Grimm
75x Hit Streak - Get a 75x hit streak
50x Wave MVPS - Get wave MVP 50 times

RANK 9 -> 10
Maxed Out - Get 4 characters to level 10
Grimm Reaper - Kill 3000 Grimm
100x Hit Streak - Get a 100x hit streak
10x Challenge Master - Unlock 10 Mastery Challenges
50x Flawless Waves - Get 50 Flawless Waves

Im ok with these requirements as long as they never add any more ranks. No point for the achievement to be called "Beacon Graduate" then. On a side note I feel bad for the people who rushed to rank 10, cuz now they have nothing to do.

Some of these challenges are way too disproportionate -- good luck finding 150 Alphas.

i cant seem to find a good farming location for alpha beowolves. thers like 10-15 in the whole story. the grind to 150 begins...

How on earth did some people already get to 10?

Kill 200 android? There are only like a handful of them in the entire campagin.

The people who made it to 10 first most likely had a group of 4 to help spawn in more enemies. Then they just took turns killing and reseting the enemies by dying. That seems to be the fastest way to rank. Kinda takes the fun out of it though.

I did it 98% solo. Only play with random if needed to. I only ask friends to go down for reviving and savior challenge. (I kinda raced with my friends so i could only ask for the location to farm and that was about it).
And I used map swapping to get to the farming xp spot faster.
Also played like 20 hours per day in two days also help, alot!

Quite the contrary! Now that I am level 10, I can focus on speedrunning this game! While grindy at some times, the Hunter Ranks were quite enjoyable. Leveling up from 4-5 and from 5-6 were easily the worst. After that, it is smooth sailing.

I only utilized this strat when going for my Alpha Beowolf kills, as many other people have said, it is easily the worst challenge. I did most of the later ranks solo, grinding the 200 android kills in the first two areas of Chapter 10, and so forth.

If anyone needs any help finding spots to farm kills, let me know, I would be happy to help.

there an eta on fixing the 'leveled up' tasks in early ranks? seems many have to level at least 2 atm to complete the task

For those of you grinding LVL5 (Alpha Creep Killer - Kill 150 Alpha Creeps), the best way to farm them I found is last boss (especially if you have someone in your group) - he spawns 4 of them on 25% of his HP. The amound of spawns is doubled if there is 1 player in your party. Dunno how many more are there if more than 1. Basically you kill them and then die. Reset occurs just right in front of the boss.

If anyone could find good LVL6 Alpha Beowulf spawn please advise - the fastest I think for now is Level 4, quarry - just run until the cart and then restart the level. There is 1 spawning (2 if duo).

On the contrary, the best place to farm Alpha Creeps is Level 7 (Merlot's Island). The wave senario has a 100% chance to spawn Alpha Creeps each wave. It is best to progress through all of the waves until wave 4, then kill the creeps and die to either the other beowolves or the ursa that spawns.

You are correct to say that Mountain Glen 1, or "The Collapse" I believe, is the best place to farm Alpha Beowolves. After the water system waves, one of the paths can take you to a spot that has a 100% spawn Alpha Beowolves after killing some normal beowolves.

I think the best Alpha Beowolf spawn is the first level, in a group of 4 I always fought 3 of them in the last wave then you could just die & restart. The Mt. Glenn route only has two Alphas when I go there but I could be wrong.
