RWBY: Grimm Eclipse

RWBY: Grimm Eclipse

Statistiche:
This was really bad.
The full release made this game objectively worse than the beta.

At least during the beta there was the hope that the full release would jump in quality, but this FPS-drop filled pile of hot garbage proved me wrong.

Despite changing the models from the show-accurate models to the chinese bootleg esque ones we have now, in order to boost performance for those using bad computers, the game STILL suffers FPS drops. Before anybody accuses me of having a bad PC, I'd like to mention I was able to run MGSV at high settings without ever dropping below 30 FPS.
A game with almost photorealistic graphics ran better than a game made in Unity on my computer.

So, aside from poor optimization, the entire game was the same repetitive clickfest it was before, but this time with three whole different enemies.
The new enemies were nothing special either, not offering any decent variety in gameplay, they were uninspired, and didn't even fit in the setting for the most part.
Not to mention, for some reason, the robot guys are the first enemies you see on the island. It would make more sense if they were only put in the game when you got closer to the big bad's lab, but I suppose the GE team had to pretend they actually put variety and thought into the game.

The final boss was honestly laughable, relying on a gimmick to fight. This gimmick would have been passable if it actually made sense, but it didn't. The gimmick, for those who are unaware, is the Deathstalker just stings his tail into the ground right in front of him, and the team has to do a certain amount of damage before he pulls it back out of the ground.

The final boss would have made sense if the team was actually able to damage him, or had a reason to be close up to him in the first place, but since it's just a big waiting game for him to do his ground sting, everybody in my game just sat around and dodged him. We only got close to him in order to attack his stinger.

3/10.

Surprised no one has commented on the lackluster and incredibly short campaign.

It was Sleepy, he was 10 prestige literally 25 minutes after the game came out and asked us how we liked it so I'm inclined to believe it was a dev

Wow. I guess I'm one of the few that's actually enjoying the game. Haven't encountered any frame rate drops, either.

Nah, I enjoyed what little I've played. Made a big post about it on the 'official' full release thread.

Also, I'd feel lucky playing with a dev, regardless of my feelings about the game. Just throwing that out there.

Literally everyone can run MGSV at high with 30fps. I saw someone do it with a tablet. The FOX engine is black magic when it comes to optimization.

He was obviously joking, but I guess you're kinda slow. Also, I run this at 60 fps.
Looks like the hated new models did ♥♥♥♥ all after all, congrats on dropping about 20fps average on my machine. Also add stuttering.
30 FPS is pretty bad. Just sayin. The game runs flawlessly on my rig. It didnt before release.

I appear to be running it fine as well.

I don't think it's that we all don't like it
It's just that it feels lacking or like it's not reaching its full potential
This game is gonna need some heavy modding before it becomes any where near difficult I died once and that was me literally turning my head just to see the final bosses Aoe somehow insta-kill me with Full Aura.

Lel.
The androids were particularly annoying, in that their attacks are disjointed; their actual damage doesn't match with their animations, making it a chore to kite them.

Moreover, the final boss is definitely one of the bigger sour points -- why even close the distance? Why even give it melee attacks? Some really off game design, here.

Personally, I'm more disappointed we never fought the King Taijitu; it's massive size would be daunting, but it'd be awesome to surf on it's body in the manner of Ren.

Finally, I can attest to the poorer optimization; the previous update ran smoothly for me, even whilst I had Bloom and SSAO going. Hopefully post-game support goes on.

I can run Shogun 2,Far Cry,Fallout 4 all at max at 60 and the game dropped frames and chugged so hard so don't try and pin the lag on his computer
