it's just the task of managing them, don't even worry about the Deathstalker as he is both blind and dumb.
Just wait until he pierces his tail into the ground and then attack him (as in the tail which is his weakspot), until then avoid the spikes and thin the ranks of the smaller mobs.

What Junior said works. Or if with a team you can have half the team focus on the androids while the other half focus on taking down the Deathstalker.

Or you can just try to keep dodging the androids and hope you'll kill the deathstalker, but that gets hard and risky after a while.

Ignore the DS, die by Acid Spittle... Ignore the Androids, die by random granade to the face pushing you into active spikes. Even my best speed runs usually have 3 or so deaths on the deathstalker because going fast and playing safe don't go hand in hand usually :3 But then I genrally play solo, and he's just plain rude in solo!

The Deathtstalker will sting it's stringer into the ground only while you are in front of him. Also, to deal with the Andriods I recommend using any kind of ranged attack that stuns the Enemei. (Ruby - Electric Dust Blast, Weiss - Fully upgraded Ranged Attack, Blake - Stun Blades, Yang - Just upgrade her ranged attacks once)
This will make it easier for you to focus more on the deathstalker to have it sting it's stinger into the ground. Now, you probably won't have much time to do damage to the Death Stalker. So Try using something quick.
L - Light Attack
H - Heavy Attack
Ruby - LLH or Charged H or Her ultimate
Ruby overall is the hardest to solo the death stalker with because of her low damageshe can do to it.
Weiss - Charged H or LH or her Ultimate
Blake - LLH or Charged Heavy or Ultimate
Yang - (Recommend having 2nd wind, becasue She can take out like 1/4 of the Death Stalkers Health in one go with her Ultimate then a Charged Heavy) Charged H or Ultimate

Available I have had the Deathstalker get its tail stuck before when I wasn't near it trying to farm androids for the achievement, though the act of such an event seems low, and it much higher if you are near and in front.

I wouldn't recommend using Ruby's ultimate on the boss if you have it fully upgraded. The 2nd hit triggers the boss to pull his tail out and the 3rd hit + delay afterwords basically garentee's you to be hit. Stick with your LLHs or a LLH>LLLH combo :3

Wait what? I've been trying to do just that and beat him with Yang. Double Ult w/Second Wind barely blips on him. For hitting the tail, is that using an air combo or just hitting from behind?

No if you get hit with enough of his projectiles it's an insta kill

Enough at once, or enough over time? Like am I being instakilled because I'm too close to a multiple projectile impact point, or do you die automatically at hit #6 or something?
