Any new playable characters coming?

Are there? Like new playable characters such as Team CFVY, Team CMEN, Team SSSN, or Penny? Because it's been awhile... So far, the only playable characters are Team RWBY and Team JNPR, and that's boring, but the bigger the roster, the more the variety. If there's any new DLC coming, is it going to be like Team JNPR that's a tie-over to help wait for RWBY: Volume 5? Will there be a playable Team CFVY? Because Coco would be useful against the Mutant DeathStalker. And instead of a burst, as Jaune's ranged attack is only one type of an attack, Coco could use her gun to be shot for 30 seconds, and there being a catch where the gun has a cooldown, but won't overheat if not used too much. And that could be her ranged attack, as she could shoot bursts as her light attacks (Hyrule Warriors and Hyrule Warriors: Legends have playable characters that have attacks that only ranged attacks, which they're light attacks). And Velvet could have a typical sword or whatever, as a way to solve her random hologram weapon thingy, and she could also have her own Ultimate and such. And Yatsuhashi could fight almost how Impa does in Hyrule Warriors and HW: Legends, as Fox could fight the way Ren does, but some different combos and such. And Team CMEN, Cinder could use her daul sword/one bow moveset, and Mercury could do plenty of good attacks, Emerald's Ultimate could be her using illusion to make the enemies see several enemies, the enemies in the area of the Ultimate being the targets, get seen as the characters, and are turned into the characters for the illusion attack, and Neo could probably use illusion to disquise herself for a short time. Just some ideas... Still, will there be any new DLC?

Not that we know of. Jordy said when he left there were no plans for more DLC, and that was a while ago.

No panel at RTX, no news. I think it's safe to say their work has gone elsewhere.

But before the game got four more Chapters, they've said that they'll continue to support the game. And so far, they've only released content twice: October 13th, 2016: The release date of the Team JNPR DLC. March 10th, 2017: The release date of four DLC costume packs. I've screenshotted it, but I don't know how to post it.

Well, if the money's there, there's a high chance that they'll have another change of plans. And if there's a sequel, I'll be on strike and not buy the unneeded sequel. I just hope a sequel game by them is so bugged up that the only thing to do to fix it is to add the campaign as part of an update into the current game.

Imagine a mode where you can play as any of the game's enemies on someone's server. Capcom did it for Resident Evil 6 and the ReMastered version. For example: Playing as a Beowolf and killing all of Team RWBY/JNPR/RNJR/Random team combination. Though, it would need to be a random enemy like in RE6 and the ReMastered version to fit the area of any Chapter of any game. And there can be an achievement that is earned if the player playing as the enemy successfully eliminates all player characters on a server. I've always wanted to play as a Creep, a DeathStalker, and a Beowolf since I've fought them in the game...

There's not gonna be any more content. The game is dead.
The creator of GE has moved on and is working on his own game now.
There's no money, so why should the devs make more content for a game that's practically dead by now?

It's got an active playerbase of less than 100 people, which means that even if there were more content (another 5USD DLC, that maybe 150 or 200 players buy) that'd be anywhere between 500 to 1000 bucks, also steam takes alledgedly 30% of that, which means 300 bucks go towards the devs, at worst, at best they'd get 700 USD. Which isn't nearly enough to pay any of the devs for their time.
That's like 175 USD for each of them, assuming that RT doesn't take a percentage aswell. (assuming they make above minimum wage, which I really hope, that's like paying them for going into work for like what, 2 and a half days? ).
Of course this is only taking Steam into accounta nd I'm sure there's some players on PS4 and XBOX1 but even then it's just not profitable.

The devs would make less money for their work than me, a freelance artist who only gets commissions once in a blue moon. It's not worth the effort.

Just because the creator of the game left doesn't mean Rooster Teeth should stop supporting the game. The game's creator DIDN'T invent RWBY, Monty Oum did, so therefore, Rooster Teeth can still support the game! When Monty Oum died, RT didn't stop giving RWBY any new Seasons. And RWBY even has a Spin-Off show! Besides, like I've said before: If the money's there, more content WILL come. If any, they could just do a kickstarter. A kickstarter would be good, and no, it's not only used for developing games, shows, and movies, it's also for things like keeping somebody on life support, helping someone keep their house, and other things, which means they can fund money through a kickstarter to make new content. The game is dead because of lack of content! Not everyone likes Team RWBY or Team JNPR, but a playable Team CMEN, a playable Penny, a playable Team CFVY, and a playable Sun and a playable Neptune CAN save the game! People like you just refuse to keep faith... If you don't keep faith, then nothing will happen, but if enough people keep faith, miracles happen. For example, many people hoped for a cure for Cancer, what happened? Marijauna is God's answer (Though, morons like to spread false information about Marijauna about it being a drug that kills, and if the country is so worried, then why is the country so defensive over Alchahol that has many deaths and tobacco-related stuff that's been proven to kill people? Marijauna HAS been proven to prevent cancer.). Many untrue Call of Duty fans (I'm a true fan of CoD), who are people that are whiny babies who don't like change, had faith in Call of Duty going back into WWII (I'm only getting the untrue CoD game just for the Zombies Mode), and it's happening. Many people had faith in the small "New" 3DS (The smaller version is what true gamers play, as the XL is what untrue gamers play and think true Americans would play) being released in North America, and despite Reggie Fils Aime saying "No" to the release of a smaller version, it happened (Meaning Rooster Teeth has a chance of releasing more content if alot of people ask)! And this is NOT me being stupid, this is me who has done alot of research.

You lost all credibility the second you said that Marijuana (not Marijauna) is GOD'S answer, and as soon as you talked about TRUE gamers and fake gamers. Any gamer is a real gamer lmao.

Anyway, moving on: Faith doesn't change ♥♥♥♥. Action does. Marijuana is only considered in cancer treatment because it halts the growth of cancer cells. (It doesn't prevent it, it just helps your body with halting the process and delaying hte process of cancer cells growing.)
That aside, Scientists found out about this because they took action, not because they prayed to some arguably fake entity in the sky every night.

What I'm saying is: most people don't care about this game anymore. There used to be 3000 active players on steam. Now there are barely 100 online at a time. RT is not gonna put any money into this for maybe 200 people, if instead, they could just move on and spend their money on the show itself, or another movie, or one of their profitable IPs.

But either way, I think you are being way too hopeful, and you are only setting youself up for disappointment. You wanna know why I think they really don't care?

Way back I talked to one of the devs and asked about a contest to include the community in making Backgrounds, trading cards and badges. They said they might consider it, but instead we just got some half-assed Bgs, badges and cards with the artwork from the RWBY card game (the same artwork they used for the character selection).
Those BGs and cards can be done in maybe an hour tops (for all of them).
If they really cared, and if it was profitable, they would have held a contest of sorts.
But they didn't.

But hey, that's my personal opinion.

That's not how userbases work. It's /very/ hard to win back a fanbase that isn't there anymore.
Don't tl;dr their explanation and completely ignore it then call yourself well-educated.

Also what's all that nonsense about the New 3DS XL being "Not what true gamers play"? What if you're someone like me with massive hands, and a small 3DS is uncomfortable? Am I less of a gamer than you because I have big hands?
