I bought this game because i've played Desperados III, and good lord, what a masterpiece.
Shadow Tactics is not as good but still probably on my top 3 best strategy games.

Shadow Tactics is the game that made me a fan of the small-team strategy games; prior to playing this, I had never had any interest in the genre.

You should definitely play War Mongrels and the original Commandos and Desperados.
