I've done everything in this post a few days ago to try fix the black screen error, but the game just started working for no real reason yesterday so I binged it while my Internet connection was out (I just clicked on it after saying, "What the hell, one more shot before I uninstall it for good). Aaaaand now the game has just stopped working. Again.
I'll probably be emailing you guys soon. Kind of weird that this keeps happening.
I had an issue, the program force closed everytime on startup. I'm run win 10. If it might help, i overcame the issue by running compatibility with windows 8 as admin, and all is well now... Enjoy the game! Great job Daedalic!

Ive been trying all those fixes here and when i delete the gameState.save file i do get the "Daedalic logo" at start up then back to black screen again.
its weird cos the frist lvl played fine, and the game seems awesome so hopin for at fix soon

My windows 10 is up to date.
VC++ Redist 2010 (x86) is up do date, when i try installing from your link it says I have the latest version.
I verified game integrity.
I deleted the save file.
Did all the possible solutions you have provided and I still have the black screen problem,
My PC specs while not the best should allow me to play any game:
WIndows 10 64 bit
Intel Core i5-4590 (3.3 GHz)
ASRock Z97
R9 280X
8GB - Kit Crucial Ballistix Sport Series DDR3
1 TB HD
Samsung SSD 240 EVO 250 GB
Any other possibly solutions to fix my problem?
