Mission 12: Wagon is inspected by Samurai

How do you get past the two Samurais inspecting the wagon that goes up to the temple? To me it seems like the obvious choice to use the wagon to get there, then get into the second wagon and go to the Shogun's tent.

But the Samurai inspecting the first wagon obviously spots me if I hide a character in there. Am I supposed to take the Samurais out first? But how? They can be spotted from three different angles. And if I take those guys out, I can just as well take the whole camp out.

What am I missing?

As you are in the cart moving towards the samurai - you get stopped by a regular guard a little bit before encountering them, he warns you that there is an inspection ahead - you need to bail out there while the wagon is stopped.

Yea, I got that - But then how can you ever get to the second wagon? Do you take out the whole temple and then get on it?

In the walkthrough here[guides.gamepressure.com] they even describe it:

Once there, you just need to get off and wait for another wagon. This one, in turn, will take you right to the shogun's tent.

The second wagon stops a bit further ahead, you can watch it moving on the map to see its route, once exiting the first one you need to circle around one of the mountain paths to make your way to it, its not quite an out one and into the other dealio.

I got out of the wagon, shot both the samurai with pistols and re-entered the wagon which then continues without inspection. The samurai spotted me and even hurt me, so it's a pretty gamey way of doing it, but after the carriage starts moving they just search the area where the wagon stopped with little recourse to you.

Thanks for the tips. I managed it now by going around the mountain, then clearing the area where the wagons halt (below the temple) and then getting everyone there.

Use Hayato rock to distract the Samurai, then get to the wagon and get off when it reach the temple.

Hayato get off the wagon when it stops the first time, then follow it, when it reaches samurai's place, just throw a rock to distract him, and then get back to the wagon immediately. When u reach the outside of the temple, just get off the red wagon and wait the green one.

I just got out when the guard stopped it, and followed the cart up to the inspection point (staying just out of line of sight). Then I waited for them to check the cart, and when the guy who checked it finished I had eveyone bolt for the cart while it was still stopped.

I just shot the guard with Takuma before he could inspect it and got back in the wagon.

Hold Tab and tell them where to go.

Honestly i'm not sure if that was explained anywhere, i know i came by it when pressing tab as a reflex from commandos games and was like "Whaa O-o i can set waypoints :o" sadly those only apply to walking i wish they could also apply actions.
