Secrets and Hidden Tips

So I'm new to this game with around 14 hrs in or so. (playing co-op with a friend) Are there any secret tips or controls I should know about? There were a few things I didn't know about that I wish I had known in the beginning of the game considering they weren't listed in the controls (i.e holding shift + left/right click to withdraw and deposit items 1 at a time) as well as mixing berries with water to create a new drink which I never knew you could do. I had to figure these things out via experimentation or watching other people's videos. These are what I consider hidden/secret tips. I'd appreciate it if the community informed me about these types of things. Let me know!

Don't try to CQC to animal, I get that "biohazard" from them (third time now). even it health like 3 and you wanted to AXE them instead of arrow them because I failed to axe them (the wolf was like jumping while attacking me so I miss the AXE)

During raining try to listen carefully for animal because I failed to that and get "biohazard" from them
