BCU Question

So im not sure what Im missing, Im not sure if its just an update and it was removed. But I built a BCU and it doesnt show me where my base is anymore with the white dot. How do I fix this or turn it on?

It will. If you die and respawn it will take 100 seconds to appear.

If you did not die, you might try going up to a big rock and rotating around until you see it. Sounds silly, but sometimes the BCU beacon dot is hard to see in the terrain. Find a surface you can see it on... usually a rock... and pan around... you will find it.

I'm only new to the game, and mucked around in my first play for a bit, no real plan on surviving, but on my second run I've been making an effort to build a proper base and survive a bit better, and not dying.. but I did notice that the BCU did not show a location dot immediately after placing it, and after I died it did appear after the 100sec timer. So I guess if you have placed it, and not died since, then there's a chance it won't appear. Maybe put your gear away in a box and go punch a bear.. :D

haha I actually think it was a bug, because after I logged back in after a few hours it was good to go. Showed the white dot clear as day.
