Missing/invisible chicken bug
I have small courtyards in a couple bases where I keep a well and coop. It's always worked fine, and the chickens have done fine "indoors". Fired up one of my saves tonight and noticed that my chickens were missing, yet the coop still counts both of them. I tried clicking free roam on and off with no results.
So for now I moved the coop outdoors and added a 3'rd chicken, with no change. 2 are still missing yet the food and water are going down like there are three. Anyone run into this bug before? I'm going to cry if I fire up my Hardcore game and find the same issue.

It says animals 3/8. I'm going to guess you moved the coop while they were free range and are still where ever you had it last. "I moved the coop outdoors" I'm going to guess there under the base somewhere. If it were me just tear it down and rebuild one. I make it a practice to empty things out when I move them. I've seen people have the coop inside their base and the chickens do go up stairs and in some instances appear under the foundations. Some bad cases the coop is semi under ground and the chickens appear in the nether realm under the world and never return.

As previously stated the coop was indoors, and they were missing when I loaded the game. The animals are allowed to free roam under the foundation (it's walled on the outside so they can't get outside the perimeter of my base), so there's no way they I could have missed them. They are quite audible as well, and I simply don't hear them either.

I moved the coop outdoors after I confirmed the chickens were nowhere to be seen or heard and added another chicken as an experiment, but it didn't work. Who knows, they may magically return when I load the game again. There are still known bugs with the coop. I'm not tearing the coop down unless I have to as it's been upgraded.
