It's not perfect, but I support no dark zombies and don't have to upgrade to UNREAL 5 to get more than 16GB of the game. I won't upgrade the graphics card after still playing zombies and not seeing anything.
Lets look at some of the most successful movies over the years. Star Wars, realistic? Absolutely not. Harry Potter? Of course not. But engaging? Yes. They created their own reality and made it engaging.
Any argument about reality in a game is just silly, it is a game, not real life.
Did I say all aspects of a game should be realistic? Nopes
Did I say a realistic approach is the only way to create an interesting experience? No, in fact I said: " if you play the game for realism, which I also like to do with survival games HALF THE TIME" which already tells you I play half my games for different reasons and making your tutoring lesson futile if you just read what I said.
Does anyone when talking about a game being realistic ever mean that is like stepping outside? Of course not, its all relative. You understand that, yet still wanted to tell me you found out what I should be looking for in games or wanted to just argue about semantics because you think only your way of looking at things is the right one lol
- the environment is compelling and I enjoy spending time in it (the caves are excellent);
- having said that, expanding the map just for the sake of making the place bigger no longer adds value to the game IMHO;
- base development is good now that we finally have water management, though we need more furniture items (and a decent bed replacement/upgrade please);
- Wall holders for light sticks would be a welcome addition;
- I'd like to see my base become more liveable - I'd like to be able to sleep and wake up there and make a cup of coffee;
- The reason that there's only one dev was being used when we were waiting three months between updates. Now it's six, which is a long time considering there's a reasonable chance it might not be worth the wait (viz: elevator; double-barrelled shotgun; hang glider... ). It's also a long time considering a shed load of money has been made off of this game already, so don't expect sympathy anymore;
- If you want to encrypt the code to exclude modders, then fine, but at least give us some more stuff please;
- If the next update's going to be the final one, please let us know.
Or I will just keep playing whatever game I feel like playing.
