Stuck in a Rock Solution

Was playing multiplayer and we parked side by side in between our base and a large rock area at the center pond. i got off on the rock side and it pushed me into the rock since it was too close to it and her quad was on the opposite side of my quad so i could not get off on her side. i walked around the rock area and could not get out.

so what we did was build a floor half way into the rock and put a storage bin on top so she could open it from outside the rock and i can open it from inside the rock. i put all my stuff inside the storage and just jumped from a high spot onto the ground till my health was low on bled out (there were two rocks overlapping each other). i also tried to to drop my inventory through the rock, but only wood passed through the rock.

if you are on a solo game, good news is, you can crouch down close to the edge of the rock and bleed out there and your bag will poke through the rock so you can get at it.

so your bag and wood will go through the rock, but anything you drop that comes out as a little box crate will not.

I never log out while touching a rock formation. Doing so in the past has trapped me inside. If your last save was from inside the rock than existing the game will do you know good, when you log back in you will still be in the rock. If you don't know how to go to earlier saves in your game files you will probably have to die to get out. The game should have an unstuck command to get you out like some other games have.

luckily that hasnt happened to us yet but good to keep as a rule. we r on a rented server so sometimes we get kicked randomly and can easily be stuck on a rock when kicked. butt the save file trick is great and is all that is needed imo.
