Corious, does the BCU use power?

I have nothing running but the fridge. The fridge uses .15 power. But the BCU shows .16 going out?

Have you checked if the stats give a proper reading? It should show which appliance drains resources.

No BCU does not use power.
Is the fridge upgraded twice.
Do you have solar panels and wind turbines they use a small amount of power.

It is just a difference in how numbers are rounded in different places. You will see this with several things in the game.

The power consumption in this game is crazy. Placing down those mining drills forces you to blast generators all day long

I learnt ages ago. To build up the number of solar panels first before placing the first drill to use for water. Now with 50 solar panels the power draw is easy. Once I reach 80 solar panels then the game will be a breeze.

Yes, it gets easier later game but what's the point of having mining outposts for the rare ores, considering the slow speed and crazy power consumption.

I do not use mining outposts. I collect all the ore myself. This is because I like exploring the map. On some runs I use up two pick axes. As I said I only use the drill for water. As I have no problems finding the rare ores.

I have found a lot id random gen. I watch a lot and some get ores easy, some get gifts easy. Some don't you never know till you play. At the moment, I have 2 solar 1 wind, a fridge, a refiner, a bed ( we die a lot) lol, and a mass producer, never run them all at the same time.
