Then i would like to see a blueprint system, like in The Forrest where we can build and be creative without spending lots of materials on wrong parts. That would sort the weight aspect of carrying foundations and the like.
Regarding the looting of enemy armor and weapons, it is indeed immersion breaking when you cannot loot them. Hopefully in the future he can think of something to make it more interesting and balanced. Right now I think there are other more important priorities to tackle.
As for the guns they could all drop weapons with like 1 hitpoint remaining so its too expensive to repair but you dont care because at least you looted the guy.
That way we should take care of space and weight
