Finding potatoes

Is it just me or is there no potatoes on the damn map?! Verified my game files multiple times and been searching for 5 irl days and can't find a single one to seed up and grow

They're there. Must be bad RNG. The veggies are pretty rare.

Are you playing on easy?
I find some seeds in the medical loot bag locked crates and the wooden loot boxes.
Seeds can be extracted by right clicking the plant and clicking extract seed then plant it for the future.
try seaon of May onwards.

Game developers typically go GRINDY when they do not have a clear path of overall game design & development, and that's not good..

Currently SUBSISTENCE is an 8 year old illogical, discordant, shambles (*Running on an Error filled, 'Dead Game Engine')!

• Carrying a few Logs is Logical Game Progression — Carrying 200 Logs in your pants pockets, is Illogical Game Progression

• Harvesting 300 to 600 pounds of Meat from an 800 pound Moose is Logical Game Progression — Harvesting just 2 Steaks is Illogical Game Progression

• From what Era is this "survival game", the 1800's (the Axe), the 21st Century (the ATV), or STAR TREK (the 'Replicator' BCU)

• etc.., etc..

yes im on easy and i havent found seeds in any crates of which ive only found one and none in medical bags tho lots of apples and berries lol the only wild fruit ive found growing is bluberries closer to the mountains not sure if theres a geographical preference to the potatoes? and im in the month of june now

RNG means you need to restart and use the start to see if you can find what you need easily, it may take several tries.

yes question? if you coop with someone is both of your bases accessible on the map or just the one who initiates coop play? such as if you gave me an item during coop would i take it with me to my base or would we have to find it together on my map?

You share 1 base initially but can build more if you both want to, you have to share everything you get in the joint base.
