You should check with the people developing cheat engine. It hasn't been updated in like a year so i wouldn't rely on it anymore.

This game doesn't determine if the cheat engine works LOL. it"s all on the Developer of the cheat. Go complain to them.

exiting water has off and on been a problem for years. Look straight up in the sky and jump a bit when exiting and it usually helps

It is a program that tweaks game states (ie. give yourself unlimited stamina) while the game is running. It's not just handy for solo players, it's just that in a multiplayer environment it becomes unethical (unless all parties agree on using it).

Thanks y'all! I wasn't happy with that word in the name but wanted to be sure before jumping to any conclusions. I have no desire to make this game easier for myself, I appreciate the challenge. No issues with those that do. To each their own.

Cheat Engine does not work automatically !!! You must scan for everything!!! One at a time to find the variables. And this is for every time you play the game!!! 8 byte 4 byte 2 byte 1 byte floaters etc. Yes you can lock them in and they will not change but leave the game and start back up later the process begins again!!!

I agree that Subsistence is too easy. However, it's incredibly boring. The only time you can have fun on this game after you master it is to use third party software.
