Plane Crash Site's

In one of my Games, the last Five Crash Sites have all been in the Snow-Capped Mountain Range's. Three were easy to get to, the fourth was hanging off a ledge and a little awkward. Don't get we wrong, I don't mind a challenge but this last one was just crazy; it may have looked spectacular crashing in the side of the Mountain but trying to retrieve the stuff, that was a different story.
You give the bad guys the ability to run up and down a cliff face but you give us nothing. The climbing picks don’t work on the Mountain face (as you will see in the video) we don’t have climbing ropes or a grappling hook. I know giving us more ability would be out of the question, so why not tweak it, just to stop planes crashing into the face of Mountains. I assume you did the same tweak to stop them crashing into Lakes.

Thanks for letting me know. This is a little tricky due to the procedural nature of the algorithm that generates the flightpath, and the curves generated by the flight itself. I will keep an eye on how common an occurrence this is.

That looked like Fun Raw lol, that only thing you were missing that might have gotten you off that cliff was your hang glider.

You know me, it might have been annoying but I still kind of have fun.
No, not that hang glider thing. I never even made one in my Multi-Player games.

Not sure if I should have made a new thread for this but... I had a plane fly over so I followed the path it took (in foot because I recently restarted) but it seems the plane landed in a fenced zone because i've gone as far as I can on the path and there is just the south body of water, but the path it took was over the fenced area.

It could be a question for CG. As it is common a plane doesn't crash.
However, who knows, it might also be CG's sick sense of humour; knowing players would be a little excited seeing the plane, only to followed disappointment to see it disappear into the black abyss.

When you have 3,700 plus hours under your belt, then you will have collected thousands of rounds as I have. However, I just don't use them, well except for Mass.
And what the hell credibility has got to do with anything beats me. If poor little you gets upset so easily, then I strongly suggest you don't watch my video's because you'll have a heart attack.

So dear friend I have almost 6000 hrs in and have never recycled ammo other than 9mm because I do use it killing hunters...like the 13000 I have killed on one server alone. So...in sum...I am not upset...no in the slightest...I just was pointing out that between the needless dropping of ammo as you still have empty slots, and the needless shrieks of non-horror, that the video was much ado about nothing...like so many posts seeking attention.

I mean really...at one point with the first crate you were practically standing on it but didn't even open it....oh the drama...

Just who the hell made you judge and jury, to criticise on how another person plays the game. So damn what if he throws away bullets or anything else he chooses. Just what business is it of yours?
Then to insult a person who was pointing out a potential problem with the game, as to where a plane crashes. To say the video was much to do about nothing. It wasn't meant for you or any other troll.
The person it was intended for, actually responded. CG, acknowledged it too, he didn't run his mouth with insults.
That guy Raw, has help many new players and me included. I have the utmost respect and appreciation for him, as would others. I have never seen your name anywhere with helpful information.

I would've tried a grenade-tipped arrow on that box....I've no idea if it would've worked, but I would have tried it, just to try to clear the site.

Hi Amycat,
That wouldn't work I am afraid, just like other locked crates and the boxes in the caves. I didn't have a Pick or Axe once in the Cave's. I tried that very thing out of desperation but no dice.
That angle of that box was a lot steeper than it looked and as soon as I swung the Axe, it was enough make me slide off and down the face.

Solution:
The Crash site fire burned for 5 days, I needed to get that Loot Box. I broke a leg with further attempts. That was just not going to work. I ended up using a couple of steps and half floor. First left and down, then dogleg to the right and down; I was able to manoeuvre right to the Box. It was only then, that you can actually see why I would just fall of at the slightest movement. Standing at the top, it looked like a just a slope but in reality, it was a vertical cliff face. I hope the critic is eating Crow after seeing this.
