ATV Will Not Take Fuel

The ATV is finished but I can't add fuel it won't take anything,, There is nothing left to do to it. Anyone know what is wrong. I have checked files so not there.

Use Bio Fuel as Gas for the ATV, a Update was made i think and you can now make Engine.
Oil

you can make the Oil Can with bio fuel and a alcohol bottle so you will need the
Distillery to craft it. You will need 1 Alcohol bottle & 10 Bio Fuel makes 10 Oil Cans a small update was done yesterday, and i found it myself, thing it is the Work Bench, i made a video on my channel https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1Gg2_AIiwe0

In 60.27 the ATV no longer runs on straight Bio Fuel. You have to craft a gas can in the workbench using 10 Bio Fuel + 1 alcohol and use that to refuel your ATV. You get 10 units per can, and they will stack to 250 units.

With all of this overhead to make and use the ATV how is it an efficient means of transportation across a map you can run in half an ingame day? Sorry, I just don't understand the use case.

I totally agree, It's really just a game novelty cause 1, cost too much to repair 2, takes to much to fuel it, 4 10 ea cans REALLY? 3, Takes damage way to easy 4, All the getting off to get stuff is annoying, should be able to get fiber from seat when you are right beside it. I would rather have had a backpack, and had skills put in the game to increase our abilities, running, swimming, food thirst etc lasting longer, & skills to make durability better. Yeah I think it'll just be a novelty for me. Just my opinion.

make 4 10ea cans of fuel if you want to fill it, I went from the sandy shore of north lake to down in the valley and back & 1 10 count can was used. A fill up takes 24 potatoes , 4 alcohol and 40 bio fuel. each time, not worth it imo. And don't forget the little bit of damage that may happen while out, running over a chicken causes a bit of damage.

Can any of the testers say more about the distance?

If you mean the new hunter system after reset, they build bases not far from your base
It's not far and you don't necessarily need an ATV to get there

You have to hover over the front of the ATV, you'll see a grey engine icon (instead of trunk or steering wheel). Insert just like you would for a container. 10 gas cans goes a long way. I drive around all day and rarely need more than 10-12 for a whole day's driving.

Incidentally, I have to disagree with the people who say it's too expensive to fuel and repair. Pretty economical to run the ATV, I use it nearly every day and it's an absolute must in winter. More inventory, super fast, chases most predators away, what's not to love? Way better than walking.
