We could already make a round base.
Notice we dont have any glass triangle corners like the floor? for ceiling?
I placed 1 square then 2 triangle in opposite direction to form the corner round the building. Repeating the pattern 1 square ceiling then 2 traingles ceilings wood one oneway the other opposite it was able to go round the whole floor of the base.

For curved area use curved floor foundation
As for using 3 pieces, they will not support 1 wall.
Considering what Zul exposed recently and like he said, you could try to add all the sugar you wish but it is easy to take you own conclusions about this game development.
