I doubt if the game is fully optimized, being at early release and during the development stage, I see many updates with optimization tweaks, it performs well on my computer and that's all I can a ask for at this stage of the game.

The game is very well optimized. I installed it on three machines and all I had to do was to scale graphics options according to performance. I would recommend you to try it out. Worst case scenario you have the refund policy on your side.

It was recently optimized to 64 fom 32.
The game engine has also been upgraded.
SS uses a small footprint with our computers.
Its an old game using an old version of DX9.
So unless you own a potato or using a tablet ot laptop that is old also you cant really go wrong.

thats weird my brother has a 3050 ti 4gb of VRAM, 16gb of RAM, and an intel i7 and he cant even run it on the lowest settings

I've had Subsistence installed on 3 separate laptops as well, and honestly if i compare it to other EA titles,this game runs the smoothest of the lot. Always makes me smile and appreciate this game more.

My laptop is very far from a gaming device, and I can play it, albeit on min settings. I'd say it's optimized well.
