Question about foods and spoilage
Hello guys , I'm new to the game but I'm pretty enjoying the game , anyway I have 2 simple question about foods
1.Does the cooked meat last longer than raw meat ?
2.Is there a way to make them last longer ? for example if I store them in a chest they last longer ?

As far as I know cooked meat and raw meat last the same length.

One trick is to wait as long as you dare to cook it. Cooking meat "resets" its spoilage timer.

You can leave it in the fire too long and it becomes "burned meat." This has really low food value but does not spoil. Many people save these to use in the mass recycler for mass later on.

Obviously a refrigerator keeps meat from spoiling, but it takes some doing to build and to maintain a stable supply of electricity to it.

Finally, spoiled meat is not entirely worthless. It is used to make heat packs and (I believe) for fertilizer too.

This meat spoiling mechanic isn't easy, but I think it adds to the game. You never reach the point where food requires no effort. Especially in the early game you some times have to pass up easy food, because you can't use it fast enough.

Tyvm I had no idea you can make a fridge in this game lol , I thought all of the items that can be crafted are already present in crafting tab , well now I like to know more where I can see the complete crafting list ? and when I'm able to craft such things ?

Various things are crafted by the player directly as I'm sure you are aware. The BCU gives you access to more things for crafting, There is a table in the BCU, Can't remember the name which has more items still. You craft from each in circles so to speak so you can reach higher end items.

There are in total three more besides your own crafting menu. You can craft the first one which is the BCU. In it you can craft the other two: workbench and lathe.
