So, how much difference is there in growth speed between ash and potatisum? and are there any other that you can use? if so which one one those are the best to use?

I'm not sure, but I don't think the growth speed changes with different fertilizers. Of course it does between using fertilizer and not using it (they will grow more slowly without but they do require water).

The other available fertilizer is manure from the animal housing. As far as bang for your buck, potassium is best, manure second, and ash third, meaning you have to use a lot more ash to fill up the plant bed and a lot less potassium. I find that starting from zero, 10 potassium and roughly 20 manure will fill up the bed.

There's no growth speed difference between the three available fertilizers:
1) animal dung
2) potassium
3) ash
The speed is always the same.

If you install the grow light upgrade, the crops will grow faster. Fertilizers don't make any difference.

Penzance is right there is no speed changed just that with each type of fertilizer it takes lees of it to fill the bar

Well the grow light also doesn't make them grow any faster just gives 100% light at all times when on. They grow at the same pace but always at 100% light VS the slow ramp up and ramp down during the day and off at night.

Hey, Critical, you're overanalyzing. Simply put, if you take overal grow time of a crop, the grow light upgrade does make a crop grow faster. Cheers

Edit: I could've used the word 'sooner'. Will it be more correct that way?

Alright thanks everyone!

I think 'sooner' is more correct. 'Faster' implies a greater rate...which if maintained will result in less overall time. The rate or growth per unit time is dependent upon having water and fertilizer present (non-empty bars) and upon the percent light. If you maintain light at 100% constantly and there is fertilizer and water always present then the rate will be maximized and the duration until maturity will be minimized.

Did this change in the meantime? Is it still possible to grow plants without fertilizer?

Water used to be a booster, now it's a requirement. Fertilizer it's still just a booster.

Good, thanks for the info!

So do the plants grow sooner or at a faster rate if you use Fertilizer as a booster as you called it?
