As for loss due to "broken mechanics" you might have to describe what those are, I can't think of any.
Adding items through console commands would only work in SP and even there it would negate much of the urgency to acquire good survival skills...it would promote sloppiness.
Now in SP or for the host of MP there are ways of editing the .sav files but I won't publish them, sorry.
I hope that in the review you mentioned that this is an Early Access game, continuously developing and changing for the better...
LMAO, a game that doesn't make it easy for you gets a negative review...oh well. Life must get a negative review as well huh?
Your reality does not = all realities
Other players will have different experiences, expectations, and want options to make the game more enjoyable to their play style/abilities
If the op having the option to play the game differently than you means that he/she will enjoy it and support it thus helping fund and further the progress, then who cares?
By “play the game differently” do you mean refusing to adapt to your environment? Refusing, or incapable, of learning survival skills?
You can’t make a game in a way such that ANY play style will be successful. You can fail at anything if you flatly refuse to adapt and learn and stubbornly repeat what doesn’t work.
