Hunter Behaviour?
Does anyone know how exactly Hunters Behave? Basically Me and my friend are a few hours in and we see a hunter near around our base not close enough so that everytime we went outside we had to be cautious just only cautious that if we went in that direction we may get killed.

Anyways now i've noticed two hunters (Don't know if they are the same one or two) literally right around the corner of our base a liitle like this...

= - Our big rock towards east of map

! = Hunters

@ - Our Base

Are these new Hunters? Last time there was only one with a Base (As far as we new) or are they moving closer around the map?

EDIT: Is there a way to backup your save for what is hopefully obvious reasons?

Hunters behavior
•They start to appear after we place our Base Command Unit.
•They spawn as one initially, later they will grow up to 3.
•We notice their initial presence with a campfire placed next to their foundation..
•They set their base pretty close to ours.
•Max number of hunter bases is 3 at the moment (this will change on the future).
•They will expand their base through the days.
•They have unlimited ammo.
•They don't seek us, they stay in their base's perimeter. They roam around their base, in a radius.
They gather wood (we can hear the gathering sound pretty loud) and sometimes they crouch standing still for a few seconds.
•They don't go inside their base.
•They don't raid our base nor steal our loot when they kill us.
•If we don't shoot but we get close enough to them and if they have line of sight with us, they will slowly walk towards us and when they are close enough they will pull out their guns and shoot us.
•If we shoot first they will all run zig zag until they are close enough and then they start engaging.
•When fighting they don't stand still all the time. They use bushes and trees as a cover.
•If we shoot them while we are inside our house they will flee.
•AI Hunters drop a loot bag when killed.
•AI Hunters base door can be broken (with Hatchet/Pickaxe or you can shoot it, use grenades or arrow tipped grenades)
and they have loot stored in a storage crate which you can steal (Also check the Refiner for ore, Refridgerator for food, Wood burner for Ash and Bio Fuel)
•Hunters rebuild their house if we break it (We can destroy their base and BCU by using a Base Cracker (Crafted item, workbench).

Tips to kill them
•Use your rifle, it's one headshot dead (even with Rifle Lvl 0).
•Don't use your shotgun unless you really need. It's pretty bad unless you are really close to them.
•Lure one hunter away from their base so you can take at least that guy out without having others flanking you.
•Use big rocks as a cover. They usually don't climb if the rock requires a jump to get above it and when they are standing still go for that shot.
•If you don't have cover use your rifle at a distance (you have time to kill 1 or 2 of them while they are running towards you).
•Don't let them surround you.
•Their aim is pretty accurate, so mostly you can't escape from them even if you zig zag or bunny hop.
•They take fall damage (sometimes you can trick them to jump from rocks and causing their instant death).
•After you upgrade your weapons a couple of times you should be killing them easily (Lvl 4 Pistol is 2 headshots to kill, Lvl 4 Rifle is 2 body shots to kill)
•Always have a bed to spawn in.
•Always bring bandages and medkits if possible.
