To get power over 500(as long as you have extra power storage) you can use a generator, solar panel, and windmill.
To get mass over 100(as long as you have extra mass storage) you can use a recycler or a converter.
Also, only your first BCU will generate power and mass. That answer can be a little more in depth than that but for simplicity just go with that for right now.
No this is one and only base, first command unit and only command unit. Just started playing again last week. I had moved a few walls around but didn't involve the moving of the command unit and also just checked it won't allow me to move the Base Command unit, stated can't move unit when holding END key, can only delete. But i am not really looking to move the BCU.
I have all that, I have a generator, I have a Mass Storage and a power storage, stated that above. Each unit shows 500/1000 and the base command unit won't allow me to access more then the 500 even though I have 1000 between the power staorage unit and BCU same applies to the Masss storage unit.
The full bar in the storage doesnt mean it is stored in there, they are just.... tanks which help you "overfill" the bcu.
Not the most... intuitive set up, having physical objects for something that most other games would manage as an invisible upgrade.
Have you put biofuel into the generator and turned it on? It saying 500/1000 means you only have 500 power saved up but you can hold up to 1000, you need to do something to make more power. The BCU will not automatically go over 500 by itself. The .33 that it generates only applies up to 500, then its on you to create power over 500.
OK that worked for the power, using the generator raised the power in the BCU. i don't understand this totally because every video I watched show the BCU just showing 1000, mine shows 500/1000 but it did raise the power level so that issue fixed.
So i turned on the mass storage unit and it doesn't raise the mass in BCU, it still is at 100 and the MSU is still at a 100 and I have the matts in my inventory for the work bench and I can;t make it. This is really screwy the way this all works, pulling my hair out right now. And watching videos only show you the crafting part and they fail to explain the details, Arrrrrrrr
A generator needs fuel, please....
Of course I put fuel in the generator, LMAO
A generator and a recycler make 2 different things. I think you are thinking about the converter(whatever its called), the thing that converts power to mass.
.
OK let me try that, Thanks.
Yah this is real screwy, I am supose to be playing a game and having fun, this has become more like a full time job, LOL
Had to ask. If you had put fuel in and turned it on, your power should have been going up.
Not trying to be a smartass, just trying to make sure all bases are covered.
Thanks.
