Mining Drill

ok i'm not getting the minig drill set up. I've made one, can't seem to place it anywhere. I've noticed that when i've got it selected that ther's a dome around my base so I'm assuming it has to be in that dome area, however I can't seem to palce it on wood platforms, rocks, dirt, water anything....

Should only be olaceable in dirt within the blue sphere of a BCU. If you can’t pkace it meeting those requirements then I don’t know. If I were not at work I’d test it.
