Is it actually multiplayer?

For some reason the tags say multiplayer but the thing under the games that you own similar to it says singleplayer. It totaly threw me off. anyone know?

One player hosts the co op game and then you can play with your firends. I currently am hosting 2 seperate co ops (nt at the same time) for 2 different groups of friends. For that matter you can make a co op group and set it to let strangers in if you want. Then people you do not know can join. I haven't done that though so there might be some ramifications to do that I do not know.

I don't actually know. Both of my groups are just 2 people. On group for my sister and I and the other for myself and a friend. I have seen streams with I think 5 or 6 people but I do not know what the upper end is.

Edit: Sorry I can't be much help I am pretty new at this game myself.

Max of 5 players (including the host) ... thats 4 external players and 1 playing host ;)
