So great that you added this, I'm loving the game and you aredoing a great job on it.

Now not to be called stupid, but I can not get the fishing tackel on the rod... am I missing something, I have made both and pressed every button :( please help

Hi,

You just need to have the tackle in your inventory and then hold RMB the click LMB to cast your rod ;-)

I think it’s just like ammo, just needs to be in inventory. But I’m at work so can’t tell you for certain.

All of the above is correct, have more tackle than just one though because they do break. I found out the hard way that you cannot fish in rivers (yet) and do not strike before the bobber activates. Both of those will break tackle. I am not sure if it is just RNG but I have only found grubs in six-log trees (and after the sixth log is chopped).

I would like to know how you can catch fish in waters that have no fish in them.

Just to let you know you can get Salmon in any body of water but can't fish in the lake. Did it in my live stream last night ;-)

What do you mean "can't fish in the lake"? I caught both salmon and regular fish in the lake/pond at the SE side of the map.

I guess my statement was vague... there are no visible fish swimming in the ponds or lake, but you can fish for them. Atleast I havent seen any in the water until you actually catch one... unless my game is bugged.

Visible fish would me nice, adding to the immersion.
I can see the bears hunting salmon in the rivers already. And me hunting the distracted bears ;-)

I'm also waiting for some freshwater crayfish... could provide interesting ingredients.
