If you mean an all glass enclosure then no it doesn't.

IMO greenhouses are purely for show as crops will grow outdoors even in winter provided they get sunlight and water and fertilizer. In fact you don't even need to water or fertilize them and they will grow with a source of light.
So in theory a greenhouse would only serve to actually slow the growth of the plants given all other conditions are equal.

It will reduce the amount of light your crops get without using the upgrade giving you a grow lamp. With the grow lamp you can grow them indoors if you want a little green inside.

It`s fearures like this that really make this game stand out in a bad way, cause though glass walls are a cool design element in them selves, they are surely ment to build greenhouses, what other sensible reason is there for them to exist!

Growing greens in winter should be impossible, except if they were “indoors”, and generally greenhouses speed up production, so should it be here. Another feature that annoys me is the grow light..... Why do we need to build a grow light for every planter? Why cant we place a growlight in the ceiling, that could support several planters, maybe even upgradeable, to expand capability!

I agree with Mohaje on this point. I would think sunlight is sunlight. Greenhouses do not make growing conditions worse but better. They retain heat and should be rewarded for building them by a quicker growing cycle which would reflect real-world circumstances. The only time they should be negative is during the heat of summer.
