IMO greenhouses are purely for show as crops will grow outdoors even in winter provided they get sunlight and water and fertilizer. In fact you don't even need to water or fertilize them and they will grow with a source of light.
So in theory a greenhouse would only serve to actually slow the growth of the plants given all other conditions are equal.
Growing greens in winter should be impossible, except if they were “indoors”, and generally greenhouses speed up production, so should it be here. Another feature that annoys me is the grow light..... Why do we need to build a grow light for every planter? Why cant we place a growlight in the ceiling, that could support several planters, maybe even upgradeable, to expand capability!
