No No No...
First thing we dont have lakes... We have little ponds 2 of to be exact! and thats the only two p:aces to find what your looking for...
Your Welcome! ;)
No no no...
We have 3 ponds to be exact as each lacks an Aphotic zone. We know this because the the static plants that are always there are growing on the bottom.
Lakes contain the Aphotic Zone, a depth which light can not penatrate, in which plant life can not live.
OMFG WHY DID YOU HAVE TO TRIGGER MEEEEE!!!!!!
╭∩╮ (òÓ,) ╭∩╮
(┛◉Д◉)┛彡┻━┻
Yes to three and your definition of a lake is absolutely not internationally accepted even by scientists. In Newfoundland almost everything is a 'pond' and in Wisconsin almost everything is a 'lake'...go figure.
That is not a requirement to meet the definition of a lake. Stop being a pedantic ♥♥♥♥.
Stop being a rude person that can't even engage in civil discourse.

THEY ARE PONDS
I will be rude all i want, go find your safe space triggered boy. I live in a place where we have things call Lake Detectives, it is called the Land of 10,000 lakes.
And the Aphotic Zone has nothing to do with the definition. So thanks for posting a bunch of worthless wiki pages. Being a pedantic douche is no way to go through life son.
Lake
lāk/Submit
noun
a large body of water surrounded by land.
"boys were swimming in the lake"
synonyms: pond, pool, tarn, reservoir, slough, lagoon, water, waterhole, watering hole, inland sea; a pool of liquid.
And from your very own link:
"Guess what? There is no official scientific difference between a lake and a pond."
Do you often post things as evidence without actually reading what your posting??
Ponds and lakes are synonyms genius.
Your name is pretty fitting. Judging by your inability to participate in civil discourse, looks like I wasn't the only one "triggered".
At any rate, reported for violating steam's discussion rules.
