While i was out looting also my base got raided 1 time. Now if i had to encounter some animals along the way or ran into some hunters i would be pretty much coming back with 0 ammo after 30mins at which this point probably another attack incoming on the base.
not funny like haha, but funny like that milk smells funny.
an funny how he states ammo is in short supply to make it hard an not be a run n gun game, Then comes out with MP. funny
I save all rifle ammo for hunter battles.
I use shotgun ammo only for defense against predators.
44 magnum ammo I use for cougar and a backup for hunters.
The 9mm I use for low level wolves and a backup weapon for hunter battles.
I use arrows for rabbits but after early game I usually ignore rabbits.
I NEVER waste ammo on chickens, learn the skill of catching them.
Like fiber, ammo does NOT need to be increased. Just get smart with its usage.
I have accumulated storage crates full of all metals, just play the game and collect it as you see it. If you go out at daybreak with the intent of ‘grinding’ some specific thing you’ll be disappointed.
Until you have a stockpile of ammo you should be avoiding predators, the reward does not justify the expense at your stage of the game. I spend days running around collecting loot and not ever engaging a predator, even on hardcore. Engaging predators when you need to conserve ammo is unnecessary and either means you made a poor choice or were careless.
as far as my shortages in SP, theyre gone I started finding plenty afetr I expanded base. Maybe it was something else but thats when I noticed, one day especially-ammo frikkin everywhere-
Now Im good, zinc an to a less extent, copper are even showing up, AND I know where at least 2 special crates spawn now.
I see no reason why it would need to be adjusted for MP. There is enough map and crates respawn often enough that if players are spread out they should find as much ammo as in SO, and *definitely* as much as hardcore SP. Add cooperation and sharing and MO should have it easy.
Or we could collapse all of those to; 'play game for me'
