Grenade Arrow Hunter Information
ColdGames, kudos in the epic update! Lots of cool stuff in it. I don’t think anyone can argue that the grenade arrows are Uber cool, but there seems to be a lot of apprehension about getting shot in the face with one by a hunter. Can you give us some info concerning the hunters’ use of these Rambo-like weapons? Some things like... How many do they have? 2? 3? Infinite? Do they just use them to target base components that are out of throwing range, or will they fire one up our butt while we’re trying to run back to our base?

I will gladly argue that the grenade arrows are not uber cool but rather arbitrary cheesy crap. Do you even know how much a grenade weighs? I do, I've actually thrown them. An arrow would fly about 10' before descending down. Accuracy, LOL ROFLMAO, no such thing anymore. Yet somehow, these brand new hunters in game will have an unlimited supply, just like they do of all ammunition even though they have no workbench to make them on.

I am with Dod here. I don't remember people in the community asking for Hunters to get grenade arrows as much as asking for more diverse animals, or a weather system, or a larger map, or seasons, or fishing. It was nice to see that CG has put out a large update that seems to be bug free so far, but what is the purpose of this nonsense?

Pretty much agree with these sentiments. At the least if they are going to have so many and so much ammo how bout having them drop more ammo when you kill them. Two 9mm rounds or some other blah stuff... They seem to have nades out their butts but NEVER one left on them after they die LOL. Also on a side note is anyone else losing like half their inventory when they die, especially armor ?? If I have helmet, chest, boots, heavy pants and shirt when I die I will have only bout half that on me when I get back to my body. Just curious if this is a new thing. Also be nice if I am losing armor that the hunters would drop a bit of their armor as well. But again early access and just throwing ideas out.

grenades on arrows?... this is what he worked on for an update? I guess so. no need to fix anything full speed ahead multiplayer!!!!!!!! keall keall keall, welcome to battlefield forest.
Who are all the people he speaks of most requested this?. theyre just kids with a,d,d, from battlefield an COD series that will try this just for a first person shooter in the woods, gripe about lack of ammo and having to craft it an quit.
is that what you want?.
so much for a 'survival' game.

we could a had birds an/or fish. I hear birds, dont you?, somthin to replace the dumb chicken cmon.

fishing doesnt have to be easy, quick, or produce much to eat. you could have to collect an craft things to do it, and you could use the bones for something else.

how bout the chair/couch, why cant you sit down, and smoke a pipe in the evening, a pipe you carved an have up on the shelf with others. or whittle. whittle woodland creatures, an put on the shelf. when you sit there long enough screen goes dark he snores for a few moments-then its morning. another way to advance time and restore health.

A Table- to sit at? ya, a table. have an eating animation not just a sound, craft plates an forks.
wooden chairs for it-crafted. a rocking chair for the porch?

The Bed- why isnt it used?, could advance time to morning, save game, restore health..etc
same for couch chair, give them some use.

different windows, shapes an sizes. how about using that laser for some actual glass to keep out the cold?.

but naaaahhh.. next is the 'ol magic box BCU spits out a minigun, you build a jeep from smelthing, an mount big grill on it for smashing thru defenses, an of course, it has missiles an mounted machine guns..yaaaaaa!!, BATTLEFIELD WOODS! woooooo

This totally wasn’t what I had in mind when I started this thread.
John Raeder Nov 11, 2017 @ 5:21pm
Good point, well I would be entertained, since this is not reality, with a suit of powered armor that I could fly around in and shoot huge guns from at Hunters who have nothing but BB guns.

Arrow grenades are not OP, nah.

Three hunters attacking unoccupied base. Completely destroyed an armored ceiling tile, and severly damaged another. I exercise my option of playing something else for a bit.

Casper Nov 11, 2017 @ 8:11pm
strange on solo play i only use 2 arrow genades and it blows the doors out and took out a wall,as well as some surrounding damage they seem slow at building as well as all 3 hunters bases still had missing doors the next day i was a tad further away than you so maybe that made a difference
