Basic: How do you start a fire ?
Just got the game, like it alot so far. However, I have Chopped wood, made alot of sticks, have plenty of matches but can't figure out how to actually light a match to start the fire and even if I did how to put match to logs/campfire. I ken make campfire and all it does is give me a gif of stacked wood all ready to go, but no fire ? ... I've searched the forums, read the tips/ tricks but nothing on this ... help?

When you have two sticks and 3 cut wood in your inventory, go to "g" (shows menus of things you can make and cost), open the second tab (shows a hammer as the icon, the second one down (I think) is "campfire". Build the campfire, it will appear in your hotbar if you have a space. Find somewhere you want to build the fire, look down and select the key on the hotbar. A blue ghostly shape of a campfire should appear, if not, move so that you can see it. Mouse click (think it is left mouse) to place the campfire, it will take a few seconds to build. When it becomes solid mouse over it and when you see the small box, press "f" to open the campfire. Place a match on the lower right box (above the bottom one) and extra fuel in the box next to it (should say "fuel"), then click "ignite", the fire should start. Note the three spots where you can place things to cook on the top row. Keep watch because they will burn (you have to watch in the "fire" view, not the over view). You can keep feeding the fire with fuel to keep it going, any extra fuel will drop back into your inventory. I have found that it usually takes about six fuel to make it through the night. If the fire goes out, open the fire again and take the ash out and keep it, usefull later. Then mouse over the dead campfire, and hold the "delete" key, this will return you one stick, and one log for future use.
