Predator drop list
Anyone know if predator level affect drops? Animal fat to be specific. I feel this is important information to know.

For fat a brown bear is best, a lvl 1 brown bear can yield more than a lvl 3 black bear.

• If you are hunting for fat go for animals with lvl 3 or higher because they give the most fat. Grizzly Bear (brown bear) is the wild animal that gives more fat (Lvl 1 Grizzly bear can give you more fat than a Lvl 3 black bear).

I read that someone here ran and died alot so his wolfes were lvl 9
Does someone here know what each level drops on animals?

No, and I don't see the utility in dying 6 times to get a wolf to level 9 just for more mats. Seems a lot easier just to kill six of them. also seems a waste of meat unless you have fried space...mines full and never gets used.

as i understand, the wolf will spawn again as a lvl 9 after you killed it
Iv seen lvl 1 wolfes level up to lvl 2 right after they killed me!

that would be me, yes they drop alot of fat at level 9 and take less ammo to kill than hunting 3-4 level 3 wolves, I did it for ammo conservation & cause I was bored lol. After you kill it, it wont respawn as a level 9 again, it kinda just despawns at night and respawns again in the morning until you kill it.

Also I posted an exploit in the bugs thread about being able to dodge bears with impunity now, I can kill level 3 bears of any type with a pistol and take no damage cause of it, I could kill them with a shotgun but thats just childs play at that point.

So They spawns as lvl 1-3
And If They kill you They get a temporary bump to next lvl

they level up yes, its not temporary they stay at that level even when they despawn at night and when they come back in the morning they are the same exact wolf that de-spawned so you can take your time doing it and harvest them later, just know when you do harvest them they reset back to level 1-3.

I have animals growling around my home at night, yours despawn?

they don't actually have to kill you to level up, just let them chase you a few times and they'll level that way also. they just won't gain as much hp when they level, at least this is what i noticed about the bears as i didn't test it on the wolves but one would assume that mechanic is shared amongst the AI coding.
