Ever timed it but I would say about 15 minutes of real time or half an ingame day.

What I normally do is keep the raw meat in order of having butchered it in my inventory. Then about every10-15 min I cook the oldest and eat it or put it back as the most recent. I believe cooking it resets the spoilage timer.

If you catch or kill rabbits or chickens, do not butcher them and the meat should keep indefinately. Exploit for now, I am sure it will change in the future.

Or, if you're worried about spoling, what you can do is hold off your hunting until the later part of the day. This way it is sure to last until you return to your base in the evening where you can cook it.

For me, just a few cents, I hunt what I need.
To keep track of 'time', I use the temperature for 'time'😅😅
