More sticks from wood logs. (suggestion)

I just made sticks after the new update and thought breaking down a wood log shouldn't give you 1 stick, i think it should give you like 3-5 sticks.

considering you can gather ~50 logs in less than 2 minutes, then turn those into sticks in another 2 minutes. its not a biggie IMHO

more sticks? why? is that hard to lumber? :)) man : 1 chicken gives you 4 arrows, 1 - 4 logs tree gives you 4 arrows. the balance seems perfect. if you use 1 arrow for the chicken you gain 3 arrows, for me is good gain. logs are so easy to get by, and looking at the respawn time on trees all i can say is ...... why more? don't want to work to much? there are a ton of 4 log trees on the map and a ton of 6 log trees. it's not like you have to search for wood or something.

Im just saying 1 stick from one log isnt realistic at all.

i'm a woodworker, and i can assure you that it possible to get at least 25-50 sticks out of a single log lol. however i really don't see why 1 stick for a single log is justifiable, 2 or 3 would be better.

Yes, I think it, too. (I know wood gattering is easy peasy)
But, 1 stick from one log, really ?!? Then, why we must craft the stick ? And don´t use
the wood log direkt. Then it were better we get 2 or 3 sticks from 1 log.

We might well be losing the hatchet as a given tool in the future so harvesting logs might well become gathering sticks to start with. Remember folks that most of the things we see now are place holders for what will be developed later. I would hope that when the game is fully developed we do not start with a hatchet but must craft one for ourselves.

Eh 50 logs in 2 min, no way, you get 4 logs per tree, it takes 23 sec per tree incl run time to next tree (3 chop+1sec down time 4sec*4=16sec+4sec run=20 sec minimum)+3 sec pickup time
so 50/4=12,5 trees, 12,5*23sec=287sec/60=4,79min about 5 minutes at minimum if trees are close and no animals nearby

1 arrow uses 2 sticks and 2 sticks uses 2 logs, so to make 1 arrow you use 2 logs, make sence?? no...
Im saying it just feels wrong that you get one stick from one log and uses 2 sticks for one arrow.

you get 2 arrows per recipe, take a look again :) ... i was a little irked that it cost 2 sticks to make one arrow but it actually yields 2 arrows when you craft it :)

unless something was slipped into my coffee and i'm imagining things lol

You should get at least 4 sticks from a log.
