I reckon that there should be a mod that allows you to change sliders that affect your max health, fiber spawn rates, and other variables, as some people just want to play an hour or so after work, or school, or whatever. Sure, it's not in the spirit of the game, but it would make it more fun for those people.
The game looks great as is. That said, I play very few games without mods and the modding community is great. I'm so glad mods are on your radar!
Five years since this post, and somehow the core mechanics still aren't "in place".
Still- mods can also add great UI additions & items to the game some players would love to have (like more wildlife, other options for hunting [crossbow!], dehydration of foods, etc, etc. etc.).
Many of us have extensive builds, but this game isn't a game that you can complete in a short amount of time. I've been playing for years and I'm still building & rebuilding. The game becomes less of a grind the longer you play and if you stay with it long enough you will find out for yourself why this is true.
Is the roadmap available for players to view, to see the direction your game may head?
Thats an interesting question because Coldgames stated twice he does not like to follow any roadmap because following a roadmap, even his own, could slow the project (we have more than seven years development) or limit his creativeness and this project is his way to escape from that "corporate culture"
